The crail grab. The benni hanna. The roast beef. Not to mention the very much dreaded and aptly named ‘stink bug' frontside air. The list of the most hated tricks in skateboard history might be short, it still can make your average skater cringe to this day. Once upon a time -and not that long ago by the way- anything done "tuck-knee style" belonged to this museum of horrors. Not just because it was ‘80s Alva pro John Thomas signature move. Just... because, you know. That was before Daniel Cardone's reign. It took a fast, stylish and uber-creative Italian skater, straight out of Bologna, to elevate the tuck-knee from an embarrasment in a skater's repertoire to a straight-up art form. Cardone can even carve tuck-knee, and not loose any speed. His secret is simple: style. "Danger" was just born this way. He flows.
